We have spent half of our childhood watching animes. I started off with Naruto which used to come on the local television channel. I didn’t even know that it’s called anime in the first place. Later when I discovered what Anime means I stopped watching television and got hooked on Anime.
Here is a list of 7 things that anime taught us-
- Never lose hope.
I remember the struggles, the hard time, the impossible moment where the main character was almost defeated but when there was no hope there was a light. Anime taught me that no matter what you should never lose hope and when the whole world is against you remember you still have friends no matter what, people who care for you, who means something to you.

- It’s okay to show emotions, after all, you’re a human.
Anime taught me that it is okay to cry, laugh and be weird, that it’s okay to show your emotions because that is what makes us human. Don’t try to fight your feelings rather make it flow; like water, channeling it into the proper place.

- Everyone has their own story that you don’t know about.
There are so many moments where I almost broke down while watching anime, each episode, each season teaching me something that’ll be useful in my life. One of the most important thing that anime has taught us is no one is evil, their circumstances often make them do wrong things. Even the scariest, macho or evil person needs a little bit of love in his life. Everyone has their own inside story that you don’t know.

- KAWAIIIII
Everyone has a bit of KAWAII inside them. Remember those slice of life anime where the protagonist is an extremely shy guy who cannot even imagine talking to a girl and make blunders while trying to engage them. Everyone is Kawaii in their own way and we should accept that and make everything more KAWAIIII. It’s not what’s on the outside, it’s what inside that matters.
- Always be yourself and follow your passion and dreams.
Anime has taught me that it is okay to be yourself. Don’t change yourself just because people around you are different. Everyone has their own personality, rather be yourself and let the people know the genuine you. You should never try to be someone else and follow your own passion and goals with the fire of youth burning inside you.

6. Hard work beats talent.
Always believe in your own way. You have what nobody else have, use that strength to overcome the hurdles. Hard work always beat talent, The greatest and the far most popular example of this is Naruto. When you are working hard you make sure you give it your all, you are constantly failing and learning until you become the best at what you are doing. As our very own Bruce Lee said,” I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”

- Overall anime teaches us to be a better person.
We have learned to be a better person, to know how important our friends and families are, all the valuable life lessons and most important of them all how to embrace our weirdness, our faults, our mistakes and grow from them. Anime has taught us how to be creative, funny and be ourselves.
